MeshCore relies on dedicated stationary repeaters to handle channel routing while mobile companions remain low-power clients:

Grid Backbone Node: Fixed infrastructure mounted on rooftops, towers, or ridges operating 24/7. Listens, routes, and retransmits packets across Alamance County.
BLE Companion
End-User Client Node: Connects via Bluetooth or USB to smartphones or laptops for messaging, mapping, and field telemetry without forwarding traffic.
Room Server
Bulletin Board System (BBS): Operates as an off-grid store-and-forward server, allowing users to leave and read public group posts.
